Hi! I'm Gen. Your pets new best friend!

Born and raised in Toronto, I grew up along side my mothers two dogs,

a great dane and pug named Roxy & Bubba, who were more like siblings to me than family pets.

Since childhood I've been passionate about animals, reading and learning about them, drawing them, and spending time outside in nature with my furry companions. 

This gave me a lot of the real life experiences of living with and caring for animals and inspired me to pursue a career in pet care.

I have been working professionally with animals since 2014, as an animal care provider at a doggy daycare, and an independent dog walker with several different dog walking companies across the city. I have volunteered with multiple dog trainers and taken a variety of different courses around training and behaviour so that I can offer this knowledge experience to you and your furry companions.

I have dedicated myself to learning about animals, and the most compassionate ways to live and communicate with them. I believe we are deeply connected to our furry friends and taking time to understand their needs and truly get to know them as an individual is such an important part of my job.

In the summer of 2018 Gen's Friends was born!

Everyday, I strive to provide pets across Toronto's East End with premium pet services, and quality care.
